Like most people looking for documents, you would have to rummage through countless folders, wasting precious time and manpower. Some organizations do not have a VoIP set-up, but still require some sort of fax solution. You can leverage all the benefits and costs advantages of FoIP (fax over IP), without a VoIP infrastructure, by using a fax gateway such as our Dialogic Media Gateways (DMG). A fax gateway allows for scalability and flexibility by giving you the control whether or not you want to integrate into your current or future network infrastructure. This may be relevant if you are planning on upgrading your existing fax server or purchasing a new fax server and/or planning a VoIP implementation in the future. Our other promotions from the November Newsletter are still available until December 31st, like saving big on upgrading your RightFax software to the latest version. ____________________________________	RightFax FaxUtil - Administrator receive "Access Denied" Summary: When logging in to FaxUtil with an administrator account, you are able to view the list of faxes in other users' folders, but receive an "Access Denied" error message when you attempt to view open any of the faxes. If you are a delegate of this user, please request that the delegator grant you this permission. Solution: Log on to Enterprise Fax Manager using another administrator account. Edit the user account that is having this problem. On the Permissions tab, place a check mark in the 'Administrator can bypass privacy restrictions' checkbox. The Administrator can bypass privacy restrictions option gives users that have the Administrative Access option selected the additional ability to view faxes in other users' mailboxes. Only an administrator that has this permission enabled can grant this permission to other users. Warning: If you uncheck the Administrator can bypass privacy restrictions checkbox on all administrator accounts, you will lose the ability to enable this option in any user account. For this reason, you should always ensure there is at least one account with this option enabled. If you have disabled this option on all user accounts you can no longer enable this setting for any users, please contact your rep for assistance. For those companies whose RightFax system is mission critical to their business, you may consider our new plan offering. As of December 1st, OpenText is imposing a 3% late fee for every month your support remains expired. That is 3% of the support plan price, which cannot be waived. HIPAA & Regulatory Compliance

To enable annotation, follow the steps below: Open Registry editor Navigate to: 32bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RightFax Client\VWR32 64bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node \RightFax Client\VWR32 Double click on the EnableAnnotations subkey and change value from 0 to 1 Close Registry Editor and re-open FaxUtil Incorrect Printer Driver Problem: when RightFax 9.4 or later is installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server, an incorrect printer drive error may occur such as: •  Failed fax conversions or incorrect conversions •  WorkServer errors in the event viewer for RightFax WorkServer Module. Cause: Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 7 do not have the HP LaserJet 4 driver by default. Solution: Add a new local printer using LPT printer port. Then choose “Windows Update” on the next screen if LaserJet 4 is not available under the Manufacturer “HP”. Select HP LaserJet 4 and complete adding the printer without sharing. Hot off the Press!
